2025 Ocean Sentinel Mission

The Sentinel Mission is a challenge to circumnavigate the global ocean following nautical rules by an underwater robot. The mission will use the newly developed Teledyne Marine’s new Sentinel autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV). Our vision is to use this mission to build global unity and contribute to scientific discoveries with a goal to improve community resilience and inspire a sustainable relationship with our world’s oceans.

Scientists and Rutgers undergraduate students are offering a series of video teleconferences for students (grades 5-12).

If you are interested in having your classroom participate in this exciting Video Teleconference (VTC) program with the Rutgers University Center for Ocean Observing Leadership (RU COOL), please fill submit your application form by March 10, 2024.  

We will notify applicants of their application status by March 14, 2025.
