What do you do?
I am deeply interested in how to combine the wealth of data from satellites, the field, and models in new ways to answer questions such as: “How are people impacting the ocean and how can we make the ocean healthier in the future?”
What is the best thing about your job?
Learning new things about the ocean.
What is the most important tool you use for research?
Satellites and numerical models.
Why is what you do important?
The ocean is changing so rapidly, and we need to understand the consequences.
